One day when she was feeling really miserable, she found herself sitting beside an elderly man at a conference who was a complementary therapist. During a lunch-break they began discussing health in general. He had a great interest in herbs, health and healthy ways of living.
She told him about her sinus problems and how migraine had been discounted by her healthcare practitioner. He inquired about her diet and in particular about the foods she ate. She said she loved her cheese on toast and the odd large bar of chocolate.
Anna continued by telling him she loved her cups of tea and that her greatest love was potatoes with plenty of butter on them. As far as she was concerned these foods were part of her healthy food programme.
