I had been attending regular group sound healing workshops for a few months and had just started one to one sound healing sessions with a therapist. I really felt it helping my aches, pains and stress. I was doing quite well until the healing clinic where she worked closed down due to the corona virus outbreak.
I couldn’t understand how distant healing worked
I work as a long distance truck driver in a job that can be quite stressful at times. I had been suffering with aches and pains at times which I attributed to sitting down for long periods of time.
I supplied the therapist with a sample of my hair and a photograph
She also suggested that I download or play a cd that featured sound healing instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, or crystal quartz singing bowls that I would play this for the duration of the session. I could then mentally visualise that I was in the therapy room having my normal live therapy session listening to the sounds of singing bowls.
Everything in the universe is made of energy
The arrangement we agreed upon was that at a certain time I would lie down for the duration of the session and she would carry out the distant healing only at the time we had agreed on previously. She told me she would be working on a shop keeper’s mannequin with the sample of hair and a photograph that I sent her attached to it. She would apply the sound healing to the mannequin as though I was attending her there in person.
I was totally mesmerised at the outcome and the results
There were strict guidelines to adhere to
Having an inquisitive mind I asked the therapist what would happen if I received too much sound healing therapy and she assured me that energy was a bit like water and that it simply overflows when the body has had enough.
